Female Ugandan citizen, or female with refugee status, or female with a disability residing in Uganda Young woman aged 18–35 years Demonstrate genuine financial need Demonstrate a strong commitment to pursuing a career in teaching in secondary education Be willing to serve in rural or underserved areas for a minimum of 2 years after graduation

Applicants must have secured admission to pursue a Bachelor of Science with Education (BScEd) with a STEM subject combination (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture, or Computer studies) at any of the following partner universities:

Makerere University
Kyambogo University
Busitema University
Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU)
Gulu University
Muni University
Mountains of the Moon University
Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST)
Uganda Martyrs University
Kabale University
